SmackDown Live Live SmackDown Discussion thread, March 8th 2024: Logan Paul returns to SmackDown

I went to turn on Smackdown and it's not on here. They're showing an f*cking Cleveland Cavaliers game. This is Cincinnati, we don''t give a f*ck about Cleveland. They say Smackdown will be on at 11:35 after the 10:00 News, assuming the basketball game ends by 10, because they have to have their full 95 minutes of news on top of the 11 hours they have the rest of the day.

In this era where all of the local channels have multiple, digital sub-channels, you'd think it'd be easy just to move Smackdown over to one of those for folks that would like to view it live. Really unnecessary to bump programming in this day and age. IMO anyway

lol, to be fair they said it was just for PLEs and starting at Mania. This was the unveiling. I'm also willing to bet they changed the canvas after the segment given that they poured a beverage on it. They usually have a ton of canvas's on the ring every show and take it off every match or 2.

I was wondering if that was actually printed on the canvas or if they just put a decal over it for the night as a "mock up" of sorts. Either way, I hope whatever they go with for Mania ends up being a bit more....grand (?) than the logo they opted for there. Maybe put Prime bottles in the corners rather than just a single one in the middle of the ring? (Maybe I'm over thinking a silly logo...)
