Records are meant to be broken and it still doesn't take away from Flair. It builds up to a person who can be there to acknowledge the next person and Cema in reality isn't that bad of a dude and will show the respect to the person who breaks it. Just hopefully it wasn't Charlotte who breaks it again and it takes some time to get to it again.
I just feel that Cena was horrendously overbooked and he shouldn’t have been given the world title monopolizing for the vast majority of the PG era. There were so many talented wrestlers that didn’t get to shine because Cena always had to have the belt and I don’t wanna see that rewarded with a 17th, but like I said, it’s just me.

It’s literally not actually. It’s just like I explained in the Raw thread and Chris explained it better than I did. Wrestling 101 is literally if the heel is ahead every step of the way up until the end the baby face overcomes that’s wrestling 101.

The heel only typically wins when the heel got advantage that you didn’t know about going in like Cena turns at wrestlemania with the help of the rock he would go over, but he turned a whole month in advance and he’s got the boss on the side you have the baby face overcome that is 100% booking 101.
So if someone turns heel they aren’t allowed to win? What the fuck :lol

He’s saying the heel should only win if he turns during the match. Not before. Which is just wrong.

As much as I don’t like Flair as a person in 2025, I still think his work carrying the business means something. It’s gonna be broken eventually, but I would’ve just preferred someone else.
Dame and I were talking about it yesterday but Flair in 1995 still had it, and he was only 46 at the time.

It’s not about whether not they’re allowed to win but typically speaking the baby face is supposed to go over. You act like you don’t remember this is wrestlemania. The baby face winning in the main event has like a 92% likelihood. Especially prior to 2000 a heel never won the main event.

But yeah, everything about the story is about the heel having every advantage in his book. If Cody just straight up loses, that’s such a flat ending.

I think he means and he can correct me if I'm wrong. If they keep getting the upper hand lol.

Now if someone turns heel to get the match but doesn't get the upper hand on the champion, he probably is fine with them winning.

Different type of situations.
