Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.278 million viewers on Fox, down 11.1 percent from last week's big number for Roman Reigns' 1000-day celebration. It's still the second-best audience total for the show since April 7.
SmackDown finished third on all of television with a 0.60 rating in the 18-49 demo. It trailed only game four of the NBA Finals and the pre-game show, both of which aired on ABC. SmackDown more than doubled anything else on TV for the night in 18-49
SmackDown finished third behind the NBA coverage with a 0.44 rating in the 18-34 demo, also more than doubling the next closest competition.
As compared with the same week in 2022, also against the NBA, SmackDown was up 19 percent in overall viewers and up 36.4 percent in 18-49. The show was also up 63 percent in 18-34, continuing WWE's strong performance of late with younger viewers.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for SmackDown, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. Despite the strong competition from the NBA, the overall audience and 18-49 rating were almost identical to SmackDown's recent averages.
