Friday night's SmackDown
averaged 1.914 million viewers on Fox, down one percent from the previous week. It's the seventh week out of the last eight where the show has averaged fewer than two million viewers.
SmackDown drew a 0.44 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 6.4 percent from the previous week. It finished fourth among network TV programming for the night, trailing three different programs on ABC, all related to the NBA Finals.
The NBA Finals game itself aired against the second hour of SmackDown, averaging 12 million viewers and drawing a 3.63 rating in 18-49.
SmackDown actually trailed Raw in the demo last week, and by a considerable margin (Raw drew a 0.52 rating), which is a rare occurrence due to the difference in cable homes as opposed to network. Last Monday's Raw had increased interest due to taking place the day after Hell in a Cell.
As compared to the same week in 2021, SmackDown was down 1.5 percent in overall viewers and down 8.3 percent in 18-49.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for SmackDown, along with the 10-week averages in both categories. This episode was down 5.8 percent in viewers and down 8.3 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages.
