averaged 2.323 million viewers for its return to Fox this past Friday night. The show had been moved to FS1 the previous week due to Fox's coverage of the women's World Cup.
The viewership is up 0.6 percent from two weeks ago when SmackDown last aired on Fox, but it's the second-lowest audience total for a Fox airing of the show since June 9.
SmackDown drew a 0.61 rating in the 18-49 demo, more than tripling anything else on network television for the night. That's down 1.6 percent from two weeks ago and matches the show's lowest rating for a Fox episode since June 9.
The July 21 episode that was moved to FS1 averaged 1.23 million viewers and drew a 0.36 rating in 18-49.
As compared to the same week in 2022, SmackDown was up 5.9 percent in overall viewers and up 17.3 percent in the 18-49 demo. SmackDown has been up year-over-year in both overall viewers and 18-49 every week since January 20th (with the exception of last week when the show was moved to FS1).
