By trying to be commercially appealing it had the opposite effect imo cause it was just awkward and forced.

I think the only people it helps are the guys ready to draw their sword so they have something to point to and say "see they didn't say all good things about Hogan" and what's funny is I, someone that thinks Hogan sucks, thinks they should have just said the good parts lol

That is why i kinda like what Tony Schiavone said on Collision (even if a little weird after his tweet about it lol) it focused more on him helping the business grow and what he did, especially on TNT with WCW, and focused on how his family should be in people's thoughts. Didn't really focus on him being a controversial figure.
