Friday night's SmackDown averaged 2.077 million viewers on Fox, down 2.4 percent from the previous week. It's the smallest audience total for the show since June 10 and marks SmackDown's fourth straight week of viewership decline.
SmackDown finished sixth among eight broadcast network English-language TV shows in terms of overall viewers on Friday. But the show topped all of English-language television in the 18-49 demo with a 0.47 rating, which is the same rating as SmackDown drew the previous week.
SmackDown tied a show on Univision for the top spot on TV in 18-49 and was 57 percent ahead of the next English-language program, a repeat of ABC's Shark Tank. SmackDown also topped the major broadcast networks with a 0.31 rating in the 18-34 demo, more than double the second-place show.
As compared to the same week in 2021, which was the SmackDown episode where WWE returned to touring for the first time since the start of the pandemic, SmackDown was down 10.1 percent in overall viewers and down 28.8 percent in 18-49.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for SmackDown. This week's show was up 1.4 percent in viewers but down 2.1 percent in 18-49 as compared with the recent averages in both categories.
