AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight to collide in Triple Threat Match on New Year’s’ Revolution​

In two weeks on the special New Year’s Revolution episode of SmackDown, AJ Styles, Randy Orton and LA Knight will engage in a frenetic Triple Threat Match to determine who will challenge Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at Royal Rumble.

The three Superstars have each staked a claim to face The Head of the Table. Knight came close to victory against The Tribal Chief at WWE Crown Jewel, and Styles and Orton were taken out by The Bloodline, with The Viper spending more than a year-and-a-half recovering.

Styles and Orton have made it their mission to take out The Bloodline, with Styles’ return two weeks ago sending shockwaves through the WWE Universe.

Both former WWE Champions, Styles and Orton have a storied history, most notably battling each other at WrestleMania 35.

Knight, meanwhile, is looking to capture his first world title in WWE.

Kevin Owens battles Santos Escobar in the United States Championship Tournament Final​

After two explosive rounds. Kevin Owens is set to go head-to-head with Santos Escobar in the United States Championship Tournament Final to determine the No. 1 Contender to Logan Paul at Royal Rumble.

As tough as he is, Owens injured his hand in the first round, and it is unclear whether it will be to his detriment in the high-stakes matchup.

Meanwhile, Escobar overcame Bobby Lashley in the semifinals with help from the returning Angel and Humberto, who could look to help Escobar defeat KO as well.

After coming up short against NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee, Butch finds himself at a crossroads and needing a partner after Elton Prince and Kit Wilson mocked him backstage for having nobody in his corner.

Butch went right after the two Superstars, but SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis appeared and diffused the situation, telling Butch that he can have a match against Pretty Deadly at New Year's Revolution as long as he finds a partner.
