Friday night's New Year's Revolution episode of WWE SmackDown averaged 2.465 million viewers on Fox, up 81.9% from the previous week's Best of 2023 show and up 16.9 percent from the last live episode two weeks ago.
This is the largest audience total for SmackDown since September 15, which was when The Rock made a surprise appearance on the show.
SmackDown drew a 0.67 rating in the 18-49 demo. That's up 132.1 percent from last week's best of episode and up 17.9 percent from two weeks ago. It's also the largest 18-49 rating for SmackDown since September 15.
SmackDown topped all of network television in the 18-49 demo, more than doubling the second place show. It also finished second in terms of total viewers behind ABC's 20/20. While SmackDown usually finishes first in the 18-49 demo on Fridays, it's usually near the bottom in terms of total viewers.
As compared to the same week in 2023, SmackDown was up 9.2 percent in total viewers and up 26.4 percent in 18-49.
