Yes and no.Yeah but there’s also a little disbelief in that too because a man like Batista would not agree to lay down for triple h despite his loyalty. It makes a little more sense for the bloodline because at least they’re family.
Let me explain it this way, and I’m sorry to do the comparisons, but it works here to compare to Batista and Triple H. In AEW, Adam Cole has been saying Wardlow, big dude who’s basically the Batista of the group, was gonna win the title from Joe, and then lay down for him once he was healed. Now everyone knows that wouldn’t happen(he probably won’t even win it lol) but it’s still something they could’ve built and still get the same match.
But also see, that’s also helping my point. It would make sense for them to say give Roman an easy night, but he agrees knowing he wouldn’t, and hopes Roman not being prepared would help. Either way it doesn’t matter because Jimmy isn’t winning the rumble lol. So none of the GM wouldn’t allow it, and anything like that. I just wish it was what was suggested
