Imagine he wins the 1998 Royal Rumble, challenges Michaels at 14 and loses, makes it to the 1999 Royal Rumble and Vince wins it so Austin has to beat McMahon in the cage match at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre for the right to face the Rock at 15, but then Austin introduces Hogan back to the company to face Rock instead of him.

That’s basically what happened here and that would have killed Austin and the attitude era.

This majorly sucks because you had all the positives with Smackdown tonight including Iyo/Bayley feud developing and all the talent coming and it leaves me with an upset stomach becaue of the ending.

I think he was trying to imply that he was the guy that was coming to take it all away from Cody and not Rock in that promo, actually.

My one sleeting hope is that Cody is on sd next week. So, idk. I’m just flat. Chamber is going to be very plain now and not much at stake. Tag titles, meh. Rhea match is cool but not worth 5k. There had to be something bigger and there isn’t. No Seth, no Roman, no Gunther. It’s deflating

But still, ironically makes Punk right. WWE still did that. With someone who’s not even a weekly superstar like he had been (promos), but once again the Rock. The same man who’s done it to him.

Very deflating. In a week I lost Seth/Punk and Roman/Cody.

I was so hype for the road to mania. Now I’m torn on continuing with it.
