I mean it makes sense bc it's two nights and no one would give a fuck about the Raw portion if there's no top stars left. I just hated it the one year when they didn't release the pools beforehand but they have every other time

I like 2 nights of the draft. Makes sense to spread things out a bit.

I personally would prefer them do the draft lottery gimmick from 2005. Don't do a full draft, just have 5 or however many people move to each show, but spread out the pick announcements over 5 weeks like they did that year. Gives you basically one guaranteed nice pop a show for both shows for over a month

But if they insist upon doing a full draft every year, I think the two nights with the pools is a fine way to do it. It's just they manage to do weird stuff every year but that's not the concept's fault lol

I remember as a kid during the 2007 draft I was so excited for the final 2 picks... and the first pick was... Gene Snitsky

They would always do that lol they'd do the last two picks the same week and it'd almost always be one jobber and then a bigger star
