Friday night's edition of WWE SmackDown
averaged 2.175 million viewers on Fox, down four percent from the previous week. It's the lowest audience total for the show since December 16.
SmackDown finished second on network television with a 0.54 rating in the 18-49 demo, only trailing an NBA playoff game on ABC. That's down 6.9 percent from last week and is SmackDown's lowest rating in that category since January 6.
In addition to the ABC game, two overlapping NBA playoff games on ESPN aired head-to-head against SmackDown. The games finished on top of the cable charts with 0.80 and 0.71 ratings in 18-49 respectively.
SmackDown also faced competition from the NHL playoffs on TBS and TNT.
As compared to the same week in 2022 (with similar competition), SmackDown's overall viewership was up 11.4 percent while its 18-49 rating was up 14.9 percent.
