Of course but it was usually a replacement for major events and essentially was a glorified WWF Championship Wrestling or All-American Wrestling

To be fair. Back in the day SNME was kinda like PPV but on tv. You didn’t get big stars fighting on the weekly shows. I wasn’t even alive and I know that

They could have done ads on NBC but no ads on Peacock to get the Peacock subs going

There’s a no ads option. It just costs more.

The only problem is when there’s not a match going you’re still gonna have to watch the Peacock ads because it’s not like there’s a show going on when everyone else is getting an ad.
