Raw last night, against the NFL's lowest number of viewers so far this season, ended up averaging 1.60 million viewers overall and drawing a 0.40 rating in 18-49.
The 18-49 number was Raw's lowest number in three months and well down from the previous three weeks against stronger NFL programming.
The key was a major third-hour decline across the board with an Alexa Bliss vs. Iyo Sky television main event.
The Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers game aired on ESPN and ESPN2, and there was no football on ABC as in previous weeks. The combined audience was 12.50 million viewers and a 3.90 rating in 18-49, as compared to 19.43 million viewers and a 5.55 in 18-49 last week.
Raw placed seventh for the night on cable, behind the game on both ESPN and ESPN2, as well as the pregame show and postgame show on ESPN, the Countdown show on ESPN, and SportsCenter after the game. The highest rated non-football show on cable besides Raw was Love & Hip Hop Atlanta at 589,000/0.22, so Raw nearly doubled the entertainment competition.
Raw was seventh in women 18-49 behind five NFL-related shows and Love & Hip Hop. It was seventh in men 18-49 behind six NFL-related shows. It was seventh behind the NFL shows in 18-34. It was sixth in women 12-34 and seventh in men 12-34. In total viewers, Raw was 19th on cable behind only football and news.
It was down four percent in viewers from last week, down 11 percent in 18-49, and down 14 percent in 18-34.
As compared to one year ago, which was the WWE Draft episode, Raw was down 14 percent in viewers and down 23 percent in 18-49. Factoring cable losses of homes, that would be down 10 percent in viewers and down 19 percent in 18-49.
The first-to-third hour drops were 23 percent in women 18-49, 17 percent in men 18-49, 10 percent in women 12-34, 34 percent in men 12-34, and 17 percent in people over 50.
The three hours were:
- 8 p.m. 1.70 million viewers
- 9 p.m. 1.68 million viewers
- 10 p.m. 1.41 million viewers
Monday’s Raw averaged 1.60 million viewers overall and drew a 0.40 in 18-49.
