Raw on Monday night rose from last week where hour three set record lows, but was still the seventh-lowest viewed show in its nearly 29-year history.

Faced with much stronger than usual news competition, Raw averaged 1.58 million viewers, drew a 0.42 in 18-49, and drew a 0.24 in 18-34.

Raw still tied for seventh place on cable for the night, and USA in its time slot was third behind only ESPN and ESPN2, which both aired the San Francisco 49ers' win over the Los Angeles Rams.

The combined audience for the NFL game was 12.28 million with a 3.65 in 18-49. The Five, an afternoon show on Fox News, did 3.96 million viewers and a 0.42 which was the only non-football related show besides Raw to crack the top eight.

Raw was up two percent in viewers, four percent in 18-49, and four percent in 18-34 from last week's low.

The 13.5 percent first-to-third hour drop was better than last week but still worse than the show had been doing, but it would be expected to be higher now than in the summer and early fall. The third hour was built around Bobby Lashley vs. Rey Mysterio.

As compared to one year ago, Raw was down 11 percent in total viewers, 18 percent in 18-49, and was the same in 18-34.

Raw finished 22nd in total viewers, trailing only news and sports programming, with the highest rated entertainment show, Below Deck on Bravo, doing 1.40 million viewers and a 0.39 in 18-49.

Raw was only 12th in women 18-49 for the night, seventh in men 18-49, eighth in 18-34, ninth in women 12-34, and eighth in men 12-34.

The first-to-third hour drops were 12 percent in women 18-49, nine percent in men 18-49, teenage girls gained 23 percent, teenage boys gained 13 percent, and over 50 fell 15 percent.

Viewers for the three hours were:
  • 8 p.m. 1.67 million
  • 9 p.m. 1.64 million
  • 10 p.m. 1.44 million
