I never caught onto Cena as a kid, I cheered guys like Angle, Christian, Jericho and Edge over them because I'd already been huge fans of them and I was sorta indifferent to Cena

yeah, it was kinda interesting cause i really wasn't a fan of face edge at wm26. i was rooting for jericho at that point, who was the first heel i ever really got into. his smug best in the world gimmick was awesome.

Idk I bought heavily into Edge’s heel persona. I remember when Rated RKO feuded with DX, I wanted DX to literally kill them lmfao. When DX beat them to pulps at New Years revolution I was so fucking happy

My DX fandom had me doing the same, I just hated Cena as a kid. But I was pretty much the ultimate HHH and HBK mark.

Suit Jericho really was something else, still his best persona in my opinion. Jericho vs Michaels always holds a special place to me

I also felt the same when it was Edge vs Taker. I was the biggest Undertaker fan so the fact that Edge and his family we’re screwing Taker at every turn had me furious. When Edge “ended” Taker’s career in the TLC match I was so done lmfao. I was so happy when Taker came back and destroyed him in the hell in a cell match.
