I don't think it really says anything that Gunther's 1 reign is longer than Jericho's 9 combined, other than one guy was chosen to have an anomalous, historically long reign, and the other guy mostly held the title during a period in the company where the belt was passed around very flippantly.

Gunthers reign sums up HHH's booking. Trips cant book compelling TV, all he can really do is put the Title on people he likes for a reaaaaaaaaaally long time. As good as Gunther is, its a largely forgettable reign with few standout moments. The Gable feud is easily the most interesting part of his Title run.

Only Miz could pull off wrestling an invisible John Cena. Going to suck when the real John Cena squashes him for the 100th time.
