I think it was always in their mind to possibly bring her back and they just wanted to check the response with that Rumble appearance. Had probably nothing to do with what she did in the match. (Which wasn't much anyways...)
Some people in the comments section of that Stevie Richards video have the same "give her a chance, she's been training" and "can we wait on judging her" etc. approach and it's just funny to me. Her first run with the company went 7 years and the unsafe shit didn't just fell into the first year or something like that... if she can't get better and safer to work with in that amount of time, then she won't be better after being out of the ring for 2 whole years.
Also, with the whole discussion about how and why female Wrestlers seemingly been injury prone these last 12 months or so, why the fuck would anyone want an unsafe worker like Nia Jax, especially with 2 years of ring rust, back in the company right now... and immediately push her into the title picture nonetheless?
