To be fair I don't like it because Universal is another word for generic. I get why they used it but the other definition of the word isn't good for a top championship.

the main explanation seems to be that it can't be equal to "world" bc universe > world but its always been seen as an equal title (until the newest world, I'm talking prior to unification) but like....Intercontinental is > United States by definition and they're equal and it literally means nothing to me idc lol

But if people don’t like Universal the other word, I think would work really well for both the tags and the women’s is one can be the women’s world and world tag team, and the other can be the women’s global and the global tag team.

That’s a fair explanation, but I actually don’t mind if one title is slightly higher. The IC was the belt WWE had a stronger investment in.
