Raw last night, for the show after the Royal Rumble, averaged 1.91 million viewers and drew a 0.61 rating in 18-49.
The episode after the Rumble traditionally is one of the highest rated Raws of the year. This year also had the late interest based on CM Punk addressing his triceps injury situation and teasing that Cody Rhodes and Bayley would make their WrestleMania announcements, but obviously they are holding both off for a while to try and boost ratings.
The Punk and Drew McIntyre segment did 2.01 million viewers but likely drew to over 2.2 million by the time it was over. The high quarter of the show was the Rhodes and Seth Rollins segment which did 2.2 million viewers and a 0.73 in 18-49.
The viewership was up 13 percent from last week and the show was also up 13 percent in 18-49.
From one year ago, Raw was down 10 percent in viewers and down two percent in 18-49, but if you factor in homes lost by the USA Network, it's down five percent in viewers and up seven percent in 18-49, keeping up the trend of the show being up in viewers under 50 and down in those over 50.
Raw so far this year is down 11 percent in viewership but down only one percent in 18-49, and factoring in the lost homes, it would still be down in viewers significantly due to the over 50 drop, while the 18-49 numbers would be up.
The three hours were:
- 8 p.m. 2.09 million viewers
- 9 p.m. 1.95 million viewers
- 10 p.m. 1.69 million viewers
