I can’t say I’ve honestly thought much of Seamus in a long time so maybe while I’m watching that’ll change but right now I’m kinda like eh.

I’m honestly a big fan of stories that not only have history like from years and years ago, but also specifically matches that start a build a year in advance and I really think Seth and Roman paying off last year‘s wrestlemania where Roman lost the title specifically cause he wanted to get revenge on Seth and finally getting him in the ring this year would be a tremendous year-long arc.

You would think Seth wouldn’t do anything to get in Sammy‘s head right now considering how petty he is about punk and wanting punk to lose everything he hopes for. Because Seth should be Sammy‘s biggest advocate right now. Wanting Sammy to beat punk right now.

I doubt it. Seth was already in WWE by 2005. El Geneco wouldn’t have been anywhere punk would’ve been I wouldn’t assume by that point because even Ring of Honor him and Kevin Owens didn’t get there until I wanna say 2007.

Well I know for sure Steen and Punk was in ROH together because of the whole T-Shirt incident. Pretty sure that happened in ROH. So if him and Sami came in together, they would’ve.

I think the Kevin thing was a one off by himself. Kevin was mostly doing PWG in 2005.

I know the tag team didn’t start doing anything until like earliest I think was like final battle 2006 or something but their main run didn’t start until 2007.

Like it’s entirely possible punk, and Sammy were in the same building for a ring of Ring of Honor show one time in 2005 just like with Kevin Owens, but certainly not a long enough timeshare together in the locker room to say Sammy hates him 20 years later so I think Seth is just full of shit.

Yeah, clicking on that cage match. He had - handful of matches between 2005 and 2006. Like I said just one offs. And I think only three of those matches might’ve been at a time when punk was there. So not really a whole lot of time to really like build a proper animosity like Seth was trying to make it out to be.

Glad they talked out whatever it was, though in real life.

I do think once punk gets past Drew and Seth and maybe Kevin they really need to stop doing the beefing because I hated punk from years ago thing and started building up reasons why people want to beat punk’s ass today.

Getting the mileage out of these punk main events, and these crowd reactions, must have Hunter really happy that he took a chance and reached out that hand.
