Seth “Freakin” Rollins defends World Heavyweight Title against Jey Uso

20231127_RAW_SethJeyUso_FC_Monday--29ffb5cd58f0cf7d5e6820e662d5a080.jpg

World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins has been on a path to highlight the best that Raw has to off to offer, and next on his list is Jey Uso.

Rollins’ decision to grant Uso a match for his World Heavyweight Title did not go without some protest, however. The Scottish Warrior, who recently lost to Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel, instantly voiced his displeasure by attacking The Visionary before Uso came down to make the save.

Despite being teammates inside WarGames and facing each other in tag team matches throughout the years, Rollins and Uso will be battling in a singles match for the first time since 2016.

Can Uso capture his first singles title, or will Rollins continue to reign on Raw?

#DIY and Imperium look for decisive winner in 2-out-of-3 Falls Match

The rivalry between #DIY and Imperium has reached a fever point, and next week they will settle the matter in a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match.

Both teams were unsuccessful in Tag Team Turmoil last week, with unresolved matters lingering for both teams. The two teams have traded wins in tag team contests as well as singles matches.

Which team will get the needed double victory?

Drew McIntyre vows to knock Sami Zayn with a Claymore

Seemingly no one is safe from the increasingly unhinged Drew McIntyre, who looks to take Sami Zayn out of the equation with a Claymore next week.

Zayn tried to talk some sense into The Scottish Warrior after McIntyre attempted to attack Rollins earlier in the evening, but McIntyre would not change his tune, vowing to get back to Rollins by going through Zayn.

Which Superstar will get back on the road to success?

Shayna Baszler takes on Nia Jax

Next week, Shayna Baszler will duke it out with Nia Jax once more to reach Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley.

This past week, Baszler’s tag team partner Zoey Stark took on Jax in a losing effort. Baszler issued the challenge shortly thereafter on Raw Talk.

Who will walk out of Raw the victor?

When was the last time they had so many genuine options to be world champion at once?

So I totally expect Drew to cost Jey Uso the title. McIntyre versus Uce at the next big PLE. That's what everyone should expect, right? Drew wouldn't let Jey have something he couldn't get?

But what if...

Drew McIntyre actually allows Jey Uso to win the World Heavyweight Title, maybe even go as far as to assist him... only to be the first person in line for the World Heavyweight Championship.

- Jey Uso wins the World Heavyweight Title, there's a conspiracy about him still being in the Bloodline to hold "all the gold" hostage again.
- Drew McIntyre versus Jey Uso now has the elevated stakes of McIntyre winning the world title in front of fans
- Seth Rollins takes time off until the Royal Rumble to heal
- Randy Orton and CM Punk are back to hold down that star power while Rollins is resting (well deserved rest btw)
- Continued teases for Judgment Day to cash-in on Jey Uso for the next 2 months

It's so far-fetched, but it would catch the entire WWE off guard and they're actually in a position to allow Seth Rollins some time away. If he were to leave with the title, he'd immediately get lumped into the kind of champion Roman Reigns has been.

PLUS, when else are we going to have a title change? This title wasn't supposed to be a hot potato, but it was a championship to give those who weren't dethroning Roman Reigns. We haven't had one title change since Seth Rollins won the title back in the spring. And if we don't get it now, Seth Rollins likely walks into WrestleMania with the championship. Which brings me to my next point:

CM Punk versus Seth Rollins is likely the direction for Mania 40 now. There's enough animosity there, we don't need the world title attached to it. If Priest hasn't cashed in by that point, he's getting closer and closer to that year window closing. The World Heavyweight Championship shouldn't be carried into WrestleMania by Rollins. It should be carried in by Damian Priest, because Judgment Day runs Monday Night Raw.

I’d be fine with Jey winning it and losing it back to Seth at Rumble.

Would be a good litmus test to see if he can actually be “Main Event” Jey Uso.

I guess you could check the ratings of his segments as champ. Would probably be the only real thing to measure in that short period of time. That and merch.

Merch would be fine, I think gauging someones first run over the christmas period combined with football might be a little rough.

I'm really hyped for Jey vs Seth and Drew vs Sami and DIY/Imperium has potential to be incredible as well in the 2 out of 3 Falls match, that's one of my favourite matches and both two very good teams.
