She's the safe pair of hands who will keep the title relevant while they re-write the plans for it. The payoff from waiting and taking the belt from her way exceeds the short term excitement of winning a random ass battle royale.

You say relevant Becky hasn't been that exciting though recently tbh. So not sure there. If they wanted to go that route Liv being champion would of worked too now. I honestly think unless they turn Becky heel (which they wont) what intresting stories there are for her atm.

Liv wouldn't bring anywhere near close the relevance to that title that Bex brings, so I have no clue what you're on about there.

I was rooting for Liv but I’m cool with Becky getting the title again. She hasn’t been champ in awhile and she’ll probably drop it to Liv in a 1v1 match down the line.

Becky is the safe choice, and the easiest choice. She's a "Break Glass In Case of Emergency" champion here. Put her in then have her drop the Championship to whoever the original successor to Rhea was.

Putting it on someone new would involve scrapping however many months of plans they had for the WWHC. Now it's just a simple pivot and you keep the ball rolling.

I’m pretty upset Liv lost.

But only makes me feel better about my prediction from few months back where she wins the 2025 Royal Rumble.

That sounds like a hell of a long time away. Is she holding the title before then?

I think she’s the only real “threat” to Becky right now, right?

Until some of if not all of Damage CTRL get drafted.

I think Liv’s getting the belt in the next couple of months, her beating Becky in a singles match will be a bigger deal than her winning a battle royal.
