I only caught the men's War Games match from this show. The first portion of the match really didn't have much I was interested in, other than oddly enough the LA Knight house of fire run which I thought was great. I definitely thought all the Trick Williams stuff was really unnecessary, and it makes no sense that it took Lumis so long to appear to run Trick off, if he was under the ring the whole time as it was suggested. But, once everyone was in the ring I thought the match really took off and never slowed down. I don't know if this was a shorter War Games match than the men's matches have historically been, but it certainly felt like it went by a lot quicker with no lulls in the action. Plenty of really awesome and brutal spots. Some were a bit more played out but some were fresh as well. And I have to say I really feel like not having The Undisputed Era in this thing for once gave it a much fresher feel compared to recent years.
All things considered I think it was a really good main event and of course, Baby Steiner pinning Ciampa was a great way to close it out.
