WWE NXT Live NXT September 14th 2021 Discussion Thread: It's a New Day, yes it is.

That was a very good show last night from the new NXT. It had bits of the classic NXT from 2012-2015 and last year. I was impressed on how well everything was placed. The pacing was on the mark. My favorite moments was seeing Knight lose to Rick Steiners kid. Mandy Rose actually tried and hustled her ass out there. She even look like she was hitting hard and actually being a wrestler that knows what they are doing. She is not my favorite, however I will give someone credit. She gets that. Also I love the new Brunette hair she has now. Makes her hotter.

I love how they swerved us into thinking Pete Dunne was going to finally win the NXT Championship for the first time. But had Ciampa regain the title instead. The Goldie Era is back and he should be the main dog going forward. Pete Dunne will get it one day, he is still very young. He's got time.

The wedding was very well done. Normally I hate weddings in the WWE but this one I loved. It had serious and comedy at the same time. I loved how Dexter basically threatened anyone that tried to object with his axe in his long shirt. It got me cracked up. Indi looked beautiful in her dress, so did Candice. Loved how Dexter put the priest to sleep and Beth/Regal came to the wedding to take over. What a successful night last night was.

Love the new look, new people that debuted last night. Diamond gained a new member. I might start watching NXT again on Tuesday Nights. Also welcome back for a one time only, United States Champion, former NXT NWA Champion, Damien Priest. It was great seeing Priests and Grimes in the same room since they feuded last year.

I saw someone say that at least this way no one will complain about "Bron Breakker" getting a new name if he's released

I do wish that Bron would have the Steiner name. He looks and sounds like a Steiner. Just call him Steiner. Plus if Vic's going to say "Dog faced gremlin".. Just call the man Steiner. Don't Michael McGillicutty him.

It was definitely a last minute decision bc he had just changed all his socials to Rex Steiner before changing them to Bron Breakker before the show, which hopefully means it won't be hard for them to make another last minute decision if the feedback is bad lol

I'm not fully through the show yet but seen that part. I'm basing it on absolutely nothing but I feel like they change the name back when he gets called up to the main roster. I know they dropped the dog faced gremlin line on commentary but outside of that they didn't make any references I don't believe?

All i've read is good things and given how they've handled pretty much everything with InDex, I can't see it going any other way

Yeah I'm more curious for the following week where they can't hotshot or do a premiere angle. I know most of the tone in here was positive but there was still a lot of questionable booking decisions and things that may not really do much to retain viewers long term

The worst thing for me was putting that Von Wagner dude in the main event, he was fine in the spot really but unless Kyle is hurt it was just so unnecessary. I don't know how much of it got me hype for next week either, they ain't ever gonna top how amazing that wedding was
