honestly most of the card next week makes zero sense either lol. Why is Asuka coming in to bury Roxy? Why is John Cena in Tricks corner next week (there is no logical reason).

Cody I could see at least bringing back the Dusty Classic.

All that said though, the fan bases overlap a lot more than people are willing to admit so all it's going to achieve is bring down AEW's weekly rating, which at the end of the day, doesn't even mean anything since it's a one night thing and all it will result in is toxic WWE weirdo stans to flex and act like they just won the superbowl. I am already rolling my eyes in advance lol

fwiw I think it's funny and only shows how strong of a competitor AEW is, and it's all in good fun. a one week rating war isn't a huge deal and obviously as I said above live fans only win here.

The only thing I think is stupid was Trick losing the belt already. Why do they keep doing JD turmoil angles only to go LOLJUSTKIDDING immediately after. They didn't need to do the rematch immediately and could have gotten so much more story out of this, even if the plan was for Dom to regain the title. Feels very rush and cheap, and I don't think giving a young guy who just got super over a 4 day reign does anyone any favors in the long run. lame booking imo
