NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes vs. Ilja Dragunov​

The NXT Championship will be on the line when Carmelo Hayes defends his title against Ilja Dragunov in a rematch of their classic matchup at NXT Great American Bash.

Hayes and The Mad Dragon tore the house down in Austin, Texas, and Dragunov fought through several tough matchups against Trick Williams and Wes Lee to earn his chance to contend for NXT’s top prize once more.

The champion, meanwhile, has gone solo since amicably splitting from Williams, but it hasn’t squashed his ego or his confidence as he looks forward to again defending his title.

NXT North American Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio vs. Mustafa Ali​

“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio will defend the NXT North American Title against a Superstar he’s yet to face in the ring, Mustafa Ali.

Mysterio and his Judgement Day cohorts have run roughshod over NXT, and since winning the North American Championship from Wes Lee, Mysterio has become even more arrogant.

Since arriving in NXT, Ali has made it his mission to capture gold, and despite a controversial win over Dragon Lee, Ali is ready to show that he’s championship material.

Bron Breakker vs. Baron Corbin​

Two of NXT’s best and toughest will square off in a one-on-one match as former NXT Champion Bron Breakker takes on Baron Corbin in what is sure to be a clash of titans.

The two bruising Superstars have been at odds for weeks, and after Corbin attempted to congratulate Breakker on his treatment of Von Wagner, The Badass rebuffed him and leveled him with a menacing Spear.​

NXT Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Tiffany Stratton - Extreme Rules Match​

The NXT Women’s Title will be on the line in Bakersfield, Calif., for No Mercy as “The Man” Becky Lynch defends her title against the very Superstar that she took it from, Tiffany Stratton.

Stratton caught the ire of Lynch when the then-champion evoked The Man’s name, a line which irked the Raw Superstar enough to challenge for the title.

Lynch then won the title on the Sept. 12 edition of WWE NXT, and Stratton responded the following week by dismantling the champion with a bevy of weapons, prompting Lynch to up the ante for their rematch by making it an Extreme Rules Match!

At NXT No Mercy later this month, Dominik Mysterio was scheduled to defend his NXT North American Championship against Mustafa Ali.

Plans for that match changed on Thursday when Ali announced that he's no longer with WWE. A round of roster cuts were made that day, with the releases coming after Endeavor's acquisition of WWE was made official.

While being interviewed on In The Kliq, Dominik was asked about Ali's departure and the other releases. He responded:

Yeah, it’s a very unfortunate situation that very talented people have to go through situations like this. But at the end of the day, it’s out of our control. We just do whatever we can to put our best foot forward. But as far as No Mercy goes, I’m just going to have to wait and see who my opponent will be.

Dominik is defending the NXT North American Championship against Dragon Lee on Raw this coming Monday. Ali was scheduled to appear on the episode prior to his departure.

Dominik retained the North American title against Ali and Wes Lee in a triple threat match at NXT Great American Bash this July.

NXT No Mercy is being held in Bakersfield, California on Saturday, September 30. The show will air live on Peacock/WWE Network.

Mysterio is riding high after defeating Lee on the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw but was dismayed to learn that he would be defending his title at NXT No Mercy as well.

Determined to prove himself as a singles competitor, Williams demanded entry into the No. 1 Contenders Match between Tyler Bate, Axiom and Lee, but Trick Willy shocked the NXT Universe by winning the bout.

Noam Dar vs. Butch - NXT Heritage Cup Match​

Noam Dar will defend the NXT Heritage Cup against the winner of the inaugural NXT Global Heritage Invitational, Butch.

Butch came back to NXT to compete in the tournament and to represent his home country of England, and he did it proudly as he toppled Joe Coffey in the finals.

Dar sat back and watched the action before confronting the Brawling Brute on the most recent episode of NXT, setting the stage for their epic confrontation.

Tony D’Angelo and Stacks have been searching for a worthy opponent, and after a sit-down dinner with all three teams, they decided that a Fatal 4-Way was the best and most fair option.

If Dragon Lee wasn't involved I could see them do a full pivot to Trick but I think Lee has to beat Dom after Raw. You could argue their feud could be bigger than an NXT midcard title at this point tho
