now guys that age you're probably looking at as producers sadly. Aldis, Petey Williams, Shawn Daivari, all guys wrestling then got signed to WWE as non wrestlers. Spears is old but he just seems to want to do the casual NXT run anyway

All companies should have a gentleman's agreement like the territory days where if they have some guys who aren't pulling the apple cart can be exchanged so they could learn a new hold and freshen up their characters.

But that's a pipe dream since TV networks are the main reason why exclusive contracts are even a thing.

How much is a few years to you? 3 seems fairly standard, 5 is a long term to mea nd I don't think we get a lot of them for either company. I'd have guessed 3 for MJF
