Carmelo Hayes and Wes Lee square off for the NXT Championship​

NXT’s greatest prize will be defended at NXT Heatwave as Carmelo Hayes puts his title on the line against the high-flying Wes Lee.

Since losing his NXT North American Championship to “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio, Lee has become increasingly erratic and unafraid to confront Superstars backstage, including the NXT Champion.

Lee then made a statement by defeating Dijak to become the No. 1 Contender and even mauling Hayes during their contract signing.

Not one for disrespect, Hayes has vowed to decisively defeat Lee and humble him just like he has everyone else.

Trick Williams to battle The Mad Dragon​

Since losing his opportunity at the NXT Championship at the Great American Bash, Ilja Dragunov is determined to deal with the Superstar he feels responsible for his loss, Trick Williams.

Williams has since split from NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes, wanting to prove himself as more than just a sidekick, a move that even Hayes had to respect.

But his first test solo is his biggest one to date as The Mad Dragon is still burning hot after losing a match the coveted title.

Dragon Lee & Lyra Valkyria team up to face “Dirty” Dom & Rhea Ripley in a Mixed Tag Team Match​

The Judgment Day claim to run NXT, but not if Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria have anything to say about it.

Since winning the NXT North American Championship, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio has badmouthed everyone that has stood in his way, all while Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley runs cover for him and ensures he doesn’t lose his title.

Their antics have drawn the ire of many, but none more so than Dragon Lee and Lyra Valkyria, who will now team up to try and shut down “Dirty” Dom and Mami’s reign of terror.

Nathan Frazer defends his NXT Heritage Cup against Noam Dar​

The NXT Heritage Cup will be on the line when Nathan Frazer takes on the Superstar that he technically dethroned, Noam Dar.

Frazer was originally set to face Dar when Supernova 11 was the Heritage Cup Champion, but an “injury” saw Dar enlist Oro Mensah to defend it on his behalf. Mensah lost that match, sending Dar into a downward spiral.

Now, after Frazer finally got Dar to admit that he is indeed the rightful champion, the two will face off in what is sure to be a hotly contested matchup at NXT Heatwave at 8/7 C on USA for one of NXT’s top prizes.

Von Wagner and Baron Corbin to throw down at NXT Heatwave​

Since connecting with Mr. Stone and opening up about his past, Von Wagner has been a brand-new man in NXT and looks to continue his hot streak with a match against the dangerous Baron Corbin.

Both Superstars pride themselves on their toughness, but only one can have their hand raised in victory.

Who will win in this matchup of giants?​
