With WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley by his side, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio will defend the NXT North American Championship against Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali in a Triple Threat Match.
Mysterio shockingly won the title on the July 18 episode of NXT, dethroning Lee and ending his historic 269-day reign as champion.
Lee was originally set to defend the title against Ali at The Great American Bash, and a frustrated Ali still wants his title opportunity.
Will “Dirty” Dom walk out with the title, or will a new champion be crowned?
NXT Tag Team Champions Gallus vs. The Family
Wolfgang and Mark Coffey are set to defend the NXT Tag Team Championships against Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo of The Family in what has become nothing short a bitter grudge match.
Gallus has all but cleaned out the NXT tag team division, but D’Angelo and Stacks were building momentum until legal issues caught up with The Don of NXT.
As it turns out, Gallus were the masterminds behind D’Angelo’s imprisonment, but thanks to some crafty undercover work from Stacks, The Don is free, and the duo is ready for their opportunity at NXT gold.
Gable Steveson vs. Baron Corbin
Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson is set to make his in-ring debut as he’ll face Baron Corbin at The Great American Bash.
Steveson has been deciding between staying in NXT, heading back to college or competing internationally, but he ultimately chose to be a Superstar, much to the delight of the NXT Universe.
Corbin, however, was none too thrilled and challenged the wrestling phenom to a match to prove just how good he really is.
Roxanne Perez vs. Blair Davenport - Weapons Wild Match
“The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez is ready to do whatever it takes to finally quell the threat that is the domineering Blair Davenport, and she's going to try and do it in a Weapons Wild Match where anything goes.
Since Davenport revealed herself as the hooded attacker that was assaulting NXT Superstars, she has turned her attention solely to the former NXT Women’s Champion and has made it her mission to push Perez out the door and usher in a new era.
Perez, meanwhile, has been steadfast in her refusal to give in to the dastardly Davenport, using wise words from the likes of Booker T and finding a fire within herself that hasn’t been there in a long time.
Will Perez finally overcome her biggest challenge, or will the era of Blair officially begin?
Dragon Lee, Nathan Frazer, Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz vs. Meta-Four - Eight Person Mixed Tag Team Match
NXT Heritage Cup Champion Nathan Frazer is set to team up with Dragon Lee, Yulisa Leon and Valentina Feroz to battle Noam Dar and his Meta-Four companions Oro Mensah, Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson in an Eight-Person Mixed Tag Team Match on the Great American Bash Kickoff Show.
Dar has been near catatonic since losing the Heritage Cup against Frazer, made worse by the fact it was his “Main Man” Mensah that lost the Cup, as Dar wasn’t healthy enough to compete.
Since then, Frazer has been left to deal with the menacing Meta-Four, but he’s been joined in the fight by Lee, Feroz and Leon.
Which team will come out on top live in Austin, Texas?
