Tuesday night's NXT averaged 746,000 viewers on the USA Network, down 3.1 percent from last week. Given that last week's episode was the start of WWE's NXT 2.0 revamp and featured both a wedding angle and a match for the vacant NXT Championship, holding up this well has to be seen as a success.
In the 18-49 demo, NXT drew a 0.20 rating, down 4.8 percent from last week. The show finished 11th on the cable charts, down slightly from the 10th place finish of last week.
The viewership was the second highest for the show since August 10, while the demo rating was the second best since April 27.
For the second straight week, females, especially younger ones, were up while males in the same age category were down.
Women 18-49 were up 23.1 percent, while males in that demo were down 17.2 percent. In the 12-34 age group, females were up 50 percent. Males in that category were down 15.4 percent.
Year-over-year, NXT was up 7.2 percent in overall viewership and up 11.1 percent in the 18-49 demo. This is comparing to when the show was still airing on Wednesday nights opposite AEW Dynamite.
As compared to the recent 10-week average (as shown in the chart below), NXT was up 12.5 percent in overall viewership and up 25 percent in 18-49.
