Tuesday night's edition of NXT averaged 625,000 viewers on the USA Network, up 8.9 percent from last week. It's the highest viewership for the show since November 2.

After falling out of the top 50 last week, NXT finished 31st on the cable charts with a 0.14 rating in the 18-49 demo last night. The show was up 27.3 percent in the demo from last week, which had set an all-time low for an NXT episode that aired on the USA Network.

Looking at the individual demo categories, it was pretty much even across the board from the previous week except for small increases in the 25-54 and 50+ age groups, which is what carried the overall increase.

As compared to one year ago this week when NXT still aired head-to-head with AEW Dynamite on Wednesdays, the show was down 12.2 percent in overall viewers and down 30 percent in 18-49.

Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo numbers for NXT, along with the 10-week averages in both categories prior to this week. This week's show was down 5.2 percent in viewers and down 12.5 percent in 18-49 from the recent averages.

Really wild that their ratings are going down so much, to be down 12% overall from when they were still going head-to-head with AEW

I know there's the whole NXT 2.0 factor but they were already doing pretty bad. It seems like the competition actually benefitted NXT. Maybe it's just the fact that people were already watching wrestling on Wednesday and would flip back and forth, and they don't feel like watching wrestling on a whole ass other day.

Yeah and it's hard to gage if AEW even got a boost from NXT leaving the night. It feels like it on paper but the timing also included the return to touring, and the Punk signing and what not within just a few months. But I think if you compared, more people may have been watching wrestling on on Wednesday nights combined last year than on Tuesday and Wednesday combined this year

Ratings were def on a bad down trend before 2.0 too but that just seemed to turn off a lot of people at once (cause of the sudden change I'd guess) and idk if it's normalized yet really

Well, when you pretty much outright tell people "this show is no longer going to be as important as it used to be", I guess that's the expected outcome

Yeah I'm assuming WWE expected the drop from the switch (if not oh brother), but I guess the important thing is if USA is cool with all this cause realistically it def should have been ran by them BEFORE the change and WWE should have sold them on giving it time after the initial drop. I think that's giving both WWE and the USA communication skills too much credit tho and USA is probs just mad and already decided not to renew :lol

Triple H's booking is what caused this show to plummet so much daddy had to grab the wheel.

And....I think he's even done the spot before on 205 so it's like a regular part of his moveset if they don't ban him from doing it :lol
