Despite airing live after two straight weeks of taped episodes, NXT's ratings dropped for Tuesday night's Great American Bash go-home show.
The episode
averaged 570,000 viewers on the USA Network, down 10.5 percent from last week. It's NXT's lowest viewership since May 31.
In the 18-49 demo, NXT finished 42nd on the cable charts with a 0.11 rating, down 38.9 percent from last week. It's NXT's third-lowest rating of the year in that category and its second-lowest for a USA Network airing of the show.
Due to interest in the afternoon's January 6 hearing, cable news was up from its usual levels on Tuesday.
NXT was even or down in every demo with the exception of people over 50, which had a 3.1 percent increase or the overall drop would've been much worse. NXT fell 69.2 percent with males 12-34 to a 0.04 rating. That's the lowest rating in the history of the show in that demo.
As compared to the same week in 2021, NXT was down 10.4 percent in overall viewers and down 15.4 percent in 18-49.
Listed below are the last 11 weeks of overall viewership and 18-49 demo ratings for NXT, along with the 10-week averages for both. This week's show was down 3.9 percent in viewers and down 15.4 percent in 18-49 as compared to the recent averages in both categories.
