I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how over Tony D has gotten as a babyface. I was skeptical of that and of how the gimmick will translate to the main roster

I think it works so well bc they went so much on it being a Sopranos thing and not a Godfather thing too just in general. Bc he's not doing Godfather scene references and if he does it's tongue in cheek just like they were on The Sopranos, but his actual chatavter is Tony Soprano, the job leader who you see more in his everyday life than doing the cool mob stuff
