Somebody pointed out that on the official poster, they removed the NXT logo from the pumpkins mouth and replaced it with the WWE logo and as such it's currently known as Halloween Havoc and not NXT Halloween Havoc. The last PLE was branded as NXT No Mercy, so take that as you will.​

NXT Champion Trick Williams vs. Ethan Page - Devil's Playground Match​

The NXT Championship will be on the line when Trick Williams defends his title against Ethan Page in a Devil's Playground Match.

Dubbing himself as "Two-Time Trick," Williams is enjoying a second reign as NXT's top champion, but in his way is the same Superstar he dethroned, the brash Page.

All Ego won a No. 1 Contenders Triple Threat Match against Wes Lee and Je'Von Evans on the Oct. 15 episode of NXT, spun the Halloween Havoc wheel and decked Williams with a light fixture.

The wheel landed on a Devil's Playground Match, setting the stage for what should be a brutal rematch between the bitter rivals.

NXT North American Champion Tony D'Angelo vs. Oba Femi - Tables, Ladders and Scares​

Tony D'Angelo will put the NXT North American Championship on the line against the monstrous Oba Femi in a Tables, Ladders and Scares Match.

The Don ended The Ruler's record reign as North American Champion on the Oct. 8 episode of NXT in St. Louis, ushering in a new era for The D'Angelo Family.

Femi confronted D'Angelo the following week and requested a rematch, and after spinning the Halloween Havoc wheel, the two will battle in a Tables, Ladders and Scares Match.

NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez & Cora Jade vs. Giulia & Stephanie Vaquer​

NXT Women's Champion Roxanne Perez will team with Cora Jade to take on Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer in a dream tag team match.

Jade returned to NXT and helped her former tag team partner Perez retain her title on the CW premiere episode on Oct. 1 in Chicago, and that move forced Giulia to recruit NXT's newest sensation, Stephanie Vaquer, to her cause.

Will Perez and Jade prove that NXT is theirs to rule, or will the newcomers take down the arrogant NXT veterans?

Seems like they got one of the few stips they probably didn't want it to land on and are now working around it a little

Though you could probably do some fun finish if it was just a straight TLC match and have the title raised or something when Oba goes to claim it if they don't plan on having him win it back immediately.

Nah they gimmicked the fuck out of that wheel I'll never believe that lol it stopped on a dime when time was running out for the last spin last week. The only time that shit wasn't gimmicked was Havoc 92 and there's a reason they don't do that anymore lol

But I do think someone realized there should be a balance in the gimmickiness of the show vs how serious some of the feuds are, it wasn't as big of a thing when it was a TV special but it's a PLE now. And also Tony's promo about how he doesn't care "who can run up a ladder and grab a belt faster" was so good and probably an inspiration to make it just a fight instead too. They have smart people as trainers, that's my guess. One of them piped up and everyone agreed

I did think the original stip was to protect Oba in the second loss but now I think Tony may have signed his own loss

Nah it's always live it's just gimmicked, they control the speed.
