Honestly, I super enjoyed this PPV but it was weird at the same time. I thought all the matches delivered were and good, yet under delivered because all of them except the main were under normal rules but that downside isn't on the talent. You change the PPV name from Extreme Rules to something "normal" like Backlash or whatever and I think the perception of the whole show jumps up a bit.
Didn't like the Sasha run in for the Becky/Bianca ending. Think they needed a definitive ending with Becky outsmarting / getting a heelish win to continue that part of the story. You can then draft Bianca over to Raw to keep them apart. Sasha can always do a run in soon as the match ends.
The ending to Roman/Finn obviously. The "demon'ing" up was up cool but that ending was for sure off. I did legitimately think it was a botch and Finn had hurt himself, so in that regard I didn't mind the way it snapped him out / made him lose concentration causing him to lose. Just curious as to whether they go with an 'oooh that was spooky how the rope just snapped' or if they unveil someone (like the family member in developmental?) was behind it.
Overall the endings of the last two matches put a bit of a downer on this but everything else delivered for me even the Charlotte/Alexa match which was a big surprise.
