It’s so funny cause whenever Cena would run into the next new “guy”, he’d always say something like “you can’t touch me on your best day”The difference between this and Hogan is this is for Cody, not Cena. This solidifies Cody as the next "Cena" himself, it's classic comic book storytelling, the ages former hero can't take that the new one is doing his thing better
But for him to have to resort to this with Cody, means he’s looking at Cody as a guy that could do everything Cena did in his prime and more.
In storyline, it’s not just about 17. He’s also self conscious about no longer being the greatest golden goose the WWE ever had
