I agree. Those had to be the top three matches of the night.

Every time they do something with Jeff's gauges, it freaks me out, though. I'm so afraid that this man will end up ripping his earlobe mid-match.

It’s fucking hilarious how Jeff Hardy says he wants to wrestle as long as possible and was gonna cut down on his extreme shit and then does a swanton off the very top of the ladder.

Other than the huge swanton, he had that sick spot where he landed in between the rungs of the upside down ladder, and then the weird spot with him falling outside while wrapped in a ladder

At the risk of sounding awful, it may be his wish so he doesn’t die passed out behind the wheel of his car.

I say with all due respect because I do hope he turns his life around and he doesn’t need to take these risks.

I think there's probably a better way to phrase this but I do think you're 100% right. He probably doesn't think of it exactly like that, but I'm sure Jeff (along with all of us) realize that (at least for the last few years), his problems have pretty much exclusively came when he not wrestling,. Not sure he keeps that in mind when doing the spots as far as injuries go, but I think the spots are just the only way he knows to still entertain at the moment so if he's healthy it's what's gonna be done.

Yeah, I do think his demons spring from the way his personality is wired. The same feeling he gets from these risks is what he chases when he's not wrestling. I also think it's cyclical as even when he does the spots, the pain caused from that makes him more likely to fall back on habits.

However the best way to say that is, for sure.

I agree. Hopefully, he is doing better because of his kiddos, but, you may be onto something.

The man is actually crazy. I remember him saying that he is actually afraid of heights but he still climbs those 20ft ladders and jumps off them. The only weird spot was the one where he got wrapped up in the ladder and I thought he really got injured but as we saw he pulled back into it. I am hoping that they continue the feud with him and Sami cause it could be very interesting to watch but with the draft coming things are gonna change.

It’s kinda dumb because he does have kids so he should be able to keep himself busy outside the ring but yeah Jeff seems to be a guy that chases extreme highs. If it’s not wrestling it’s drugs I guess.

I'm watching Clash of Champions right now and I'm like how did Jeff and Sami not die with the bumps they took in that Ladder Match. One of the best, and entertaining Matches this Year, and I want to see them run it back in a Cage or HITC because why not!
