So if you think about it in kayfabe, he's in the back getting prepared for his match. He likely is barely watching the match. Even if he's watching the match the first time you would consider coming out is after the Spear on the table. That shit takes time to get there though as it seems to be a rather large venue.

They still do good matches but the lack of emphasis on Tag Wrestling coupled with taking a break from them being on top for a few years led to what they are now. Honestly they still have the promise but they're just stuck in the mud.
