I think they do the trope less now, but yeah this is basically how it’s always been. Look weak going into the show, then win come the show. Or maybe they don’t do it less and I just notice less now lol.

Yeah it's not something I pay attention to really anymore but when you notice the pattern you see it all the time.

As far as that goes, some nerd actually analyzed it once and it was around 50/50 for all PPV go home segments, but the same guy speculated that if he'd have just done title matches instead it could be different
