Lisa Marie Varon (Victoria, Tara) may be back to work for WWE in some form here soon, most likely as a NXT trainer There's a women's tryout camp being planned for June so she may be brought in for that.
Lords of pain

Trainer yes, but keep her out of the divas division they need to be building for the future not bringing in former divas who have already achieved so much.

I agree she would be a good trainer. Don't think she'd do well on TV anymore though.

Nothing says she would be a performer, WWE don't hire old. Plus she runs a successful restaurant in Chicago, she's alright,

Yeah, she had a decent run in TNA (the second time), but yeah as a trainer she should have something to offer, rather than in ring.

I reckon I would probably be alright with her getting back in the ring depending what sort of role she played. Sure she may be 43 but she's probably got plenty left to offer and the more decent females they have the better. She looked great at the HOF too :mark:

A one-off to put a younger name over would be fine, but I just think she has had a good career, but has become a little injury prone so it maybe time to bow out and leave a good impression. Given her experience and the lack of depth in the Ladies division then her working with some of the greener ones could be useful.

Eh, a one off would be totally pointless as she's really not that big of a name to come back and mean anything in that role. Hell, an on air wrestler down in NXT would be more than fine similar to how they use(d) Nattie.

A one off to put someone over would mean she was a draw, which she wasn't. One hot angle with Trish because Jazz was injured doesn't make her someone you can bring in to make somebody.

Depends who you ask all the attitude era marks would freak out causing the kids to freak out. For that reason only it may work. I have no desire to see her again, didn't care then doubt I'll care now.

Mark out for Victoria?!?!?!

Is it still nostalgia when you don't remember?

Sorry, but I can't see people freaking out over Victoria returning at all.

Not nostalgia for her. Nostalgia for the era. How many people in attendance do you think actually knew who Backland was? Or Diesel at the rumble. It was the smarks screaming beside them that got them going.

Apart from the one off match I agree with this. Victoria has had some great matches / feuds in the WWE (Lita vs. Victoria Cage match, Trish vs. Victoria Chicago street fight etc). Victoria should now focus her attention to training these new girls so they can have the same experiences she got during the golden era of the divas division.

Anyone else get the feeling they might be bringing her in for a new season of Tough Enough?

And yes, another match could work. Have her bring in the female Tough Enough winner (IF a lady wins) and have the champ destroy the winner... have Victoria stand up for her, have the champ challenge her at the "Special Event" and let the champ go over her. It sets the pecking order of a WWE Diva definitely being over the Tough Enough and NXT women and it establishes the champ as being a step above a veteran trainer...

Its a debatable if she would get a big response coming back now, but I disagree than she wasn't over in the first place, she played that killer heel role to perfection, and also had a depth to her characters which few females had at the time. Her feud with Molly was another stand-out one for me.

Because of the product being more aimed at kids now and the time which has passed since her last appearance it may not be that bigger deal. Certainly she could teach the current crop a thing or two though.
