Linkin Park Selects Emily Armstrong From Rock Band Dead Sara as New Singer, Reveals Tour and Album ‘From Zero’

Linkin Park revealed vocalist Emily Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain will be joining the band as they embark on a new tour in support of new 'From Zero' album.

Linkin Park‘s new co-vocalist will be Emily Armstrong of the band Dead Sara, the band announced Thursday during a live performance event. Colin Brittain, a songwriter and producer for G Flip, Illenium and One OK Rock, will also join the group as a drummer.

The announcement came with a new single, “The Emptiness Machine,” the band’s first new music release in seven years, and the lead track for an upcoming album dubbed “From Zero.” The set will arrive on Nov. 15 (via Warner Records) as their first full-length effort since 2017’s “One More Light,” also the last Linkin Park album before the death of lead vocalist Chester Bennington.

It's going to weird not hearing Chester but he would of wanted this to happen and she sounds good to me. Crawling was the first LP Song I listened to via my friend JT put me on them and that is the best thing I've ever done when it comes to Music. It opened the Gates for me to get more interest in Music outside of Hip Hop/Rap.

Dead Sara is a good band, Emily Armstrong is a great choice to fill in.

I’m so happy LP is back, the new song sounds great. I miss Chester and it’ll take some getting used to him not being there anymore with them being back but I’m happy they’re back this what he would’ve wanted.

I think the issue is Scientologists don't believe in mental health and replacing someone who struggled with it all of his life and succumbed to it with someone who doesn't believe in it is a completely awful decision and awful PR move
