Dude its basically the cop, its not quite the auto town pass that claiming actual cop would be, but its definitely in the same ballpark. Lynching a hider on day 1 makes legitimately no sense lmao. If you deadset have a hard on for lynching me you wait til I use my shots and then lynch me to verify my results (if Im not dead from usage already). There's a reason magic says hiders are self resolving, which is largely because well, they are

At the end of the day there's a strong chance I either A) die hiding behind scum or B) make myself pretty obvtown off of play anyway at some point. And at the very worst neither of those things happen and you lynch me down the line, with multiple townies cleared from PoE

fwiw i have phenom as the kinda character that if he were scum would back off somewhat after my claim rather than double down. at the end of the day he'd know thats not gonna reflect back well on him down the line
