On january 10 2011 Ulitimo Dragon,Dos Caras and TigerMask the 3rd met with the executive producer of Univision USA. They pitched him an idea that really caught the companies attention. With all 3 men being successful wrestling legends and thier love of wrestling still burning inside them the network decided to take a chance. Located in Atlanta Georgia the 3 men started to create thier own wrestling show and company caled Toryumon USA Wrestling in hopes to showcase something diffrent to the american public. All three of these men felt that the love of wrestling was dying and that WWE did not give wrestling the story telling it deserves.
On January 30 2011 in a press confrence Dos Caras stated that the wrestling show ill be on a wenesday night. the show will be called leyendas which is the spanish word for Legends. He also stated that this show will for one night replace wwe programing on the univision network. Just to see the raitings and that they all have been really pleased with the talent they have been able to get so far. He also stated that one of the talents is his own son Dos Caras Jr but also known as Alberto De rio has signed with the roster. He also states that alberto along the other talents will have to fight thier way to the top. then he goes on and tells the media that along with alberto the other talents that got signed are Aj Styles, Jack Evans and WWE Superstar Matt Sydal also known as Evan Bourne. Then Dos Caras said this is a show you do no want to miss and steps down as
Ultimo Dragon took stage. Dragon Stated that thier will be 4 titles. The X Grand Prix Championship which will be the main title. The Reys de Parejas which will be the Tag team titles and the Open the Honor gate championship will be the TV title. then he contnued to announce more of the talent that is signed which included NJW Hiroshi Tanahashi, CMLL Sombra Negra (black Shadow) and ROH Rodrick Strong. After a few more questions he stepped down and Tiger Mask Got up and took the stage.
Tiger Mask Thanked Univision for this oportunity and he thanked everyone who was there and he says that this company wants to show everyone what wrestling is really about. In conclution he says that the other signed talent will be shown in in the next few weeks before the start of raw in univision every wenesday till the start of the first Leyendas show. He also stated that 4 talents will not be showcased till the Debut of the show. Then he said goodbye as all three men walked off.
Over the Following weeks before raw on univision a few vigiantis started to play and the following wrestlers where showcased
