How about basically every match he's had since then? Brock nearly always finds time in his matches to taunt or say something goofy to his opponents or the crowd or whoever whenever he's being dominant beast bully. How many more times does Brock flash that ridiculous grin when he's enjoying the humiliation or beat down of his opponent?
If anything, Brock is like a cat (not one goddamn word, Snake). During his matches he dominates 90% of the time. And a lot of that time is spent stalling, stalking his prey and toying with them so to speak, getting enjoyment out of giving them false hope only to take it away moments later. In essence, he's doing the same thing now with the briefcase. He knows he can have whichever title he wants, at any time he wants. But he chooses to toy with them instead, and is gleefully enjoying every second of it until he finally gets bored and cashes in, most likely taking what he feels is his to begin with
I don’t think him literally beat boxing and dancing like an idiot is anywhere near the same as giving a grin or crazy yell in the midst of tossing on their head.... it’s not the same thing at all. Him dominating someone and showing dominance in the midst of the match by smiling and showing he’s enjoying the beat down is a badass move, not him goofing off.
What he did on Raw was goof off and just fuck around merely to taunt Rollins with 0 physical intimidation. I’m saying that in no way has been Brock’s character.
You’re comparing apples and oranges man. Again, show me a clip of Brock doing anything like he did on Raw where he used 0 physical intimidation and simply acted in a similar “taunting” manor. I don’t think you can.
And I’m not against doing something like this, really, or a mild change up of character, it’s just that nothing was explained or story wise driven for it. He just came out dancing like a literal idiot to show “Brock does what he wants...” even if it’s completely out of character and makes no sense.
Oh, and when Brock says “suplex city bitch”
or yells and swears at his opponents during a match, I don’t think the crowd or fans are thinking... “what a goofy guy...” they’re thinking, “that’s the baddest guy on the planet.” Again, he’s out of character on this one and for that it was stupid and inconsistent.
