I don't get that logic, if you know Brock Lesnar is a special attraction who only wrestles on special events and pay per views, how come people are expecting him to show up to wrestle every week when that's not what he's advertised for ? Because he has the Universal title ? If anything that makes his opponents want it even more because of the fact that you don't see him every week. While guys like Roman Reigns and Samoa Joe and even Braun Strowman who are here every week unlike Lesnar, don't feel as special because they fight every single week, which means nothing when it gets to pay per views because you've seen the same matches a thousand times.I think keeping Brock off of TV is what sets him apart from those other guys that you see all the time.

People want the champ to be on TV every week. Wrestling fans are spoiled kids. They don't know what's good for them.

Plus people think Brock is lazy and that its unfair on the rest of the roster.

Not me tho, I love Brock

imo world champs should rarely perform at weekly shows anyways, given that the challengers are supposed to be the ones putting in work and getting weekly exposure to get to that PPV slot where they can dethrone the champion. And this doesn't have to do with part time or not, I just think it adds more to the prestige of being champ as a whole and would help make people look forward to certain main events again, as they only get to see the champ in a quality match again on PPVs. If he loses, he's once again a challenger and has to prove his spot on the card, but if he retains, he can just wait for the next challenger at the next PPV. Even in kayfabe it makes the most sense because once you've reached that pinnacle, why would you still have to bust your ass every week and blow good spots on a Raw or Smackdown match with some nobody just to "be there"? You're the champ, you made it, you're the main guy people are after now, so just sit back and watch who's willing enough to step up.

Obviously the Lesnar situation is completely different and has more to do with politics, contracts and money but I think there's a positive aspect to take from that to use in future storylines. It's one way to turn full-timers into special attractions as well

Champions shouldn't wrestle on TV imo.

I do agree with what was stated above. Champs should save most of their wrestling for PPV events only.
It should really be a perk to having one of the belts. Also, this forces them to focus on promos and story building more.

That aside, Roman gets boo'd because it has become a meme to boo him. Originally, it was because of bad booking and Vince shoving him down our throats. You can say the boo's are more directed at Vince and the company than Roman himself. He was just a tool people used to protest. Similar to the CM Punk chants.
