Hello, I'm BloodAndCyanide. I'm new here on the forum. I am aware that WWE published an interview with Legacy in the latest issue of WWE Magazine in which Randy mentioned adding a fourth man to Legacy. At the time of publication, DH Smith was being considered as said man. Now that they have changed their mind and used him in The Hart Trilogy, do you think Legacy will still get another man or will the idea just be scrapped in your opinion?

Gimmick matches are always fun and entertaining. People seem to prefer it when there's more chaos though, so I had an interesting thought along the lines of a double gimmick match. For example, a Fatal 4 Way, Falls Count Anywhere match. What are your thoughts on this?

Batista, I must say, is my absolute LEAST favorite superstar. I find him to be repulsive in more than a few ways, but my main reason is his lack of professionalism in the ring. I have reviewed a few matches of his and it seems to me that he uses much more force than is necessary to execute a move. For example: April 4, 2005. Batista slings Randy Orton into the ring post so hard that his shoulder is dislocated, and even after being informed by the ref that Randy is injured, finishes the match in such a way that shows an utter lack of respect for his fellow athelete. When Randy broke his collarbone, Triple H hit him with a right hand and a very obviously blocked sledgehammer shot, allowing Randy to ease himself back onto the ground for the finish. Batista instead chose to slam the bad shoulder back onto the ringpost and finish with a particularly rough spinebuster and Batistabomb. I have been informed by a friend that Batista has injured his fellow superstars more often than he has been injured himself. Thoughts on this?

1. Been thinking about this myself.... I'd previously speculated that it could have been Regal, but I doubt that now given the segment on this weeks Raw.

I think they need an 'experience' figure... The so-called 'Flair in Evolution' role... Preferably someone that can still go in the ring.

Can't think of anyone suitable right now.

If they're gonna add anyone else on a rookie level, given his heritage, I reckon Joe Hennig fits the bill (but I dunno what he's like as a worker).

2. I'm not a big fan of 'clusterfuck' matches... If it's a multiman I usually prefer it to be an ellimination match. I guess certain combo's could work (I kinda like the idea of falls count anywhere being fused with other stips), but when you consider most stips really only equate to an anything goes ruling (Street Fight, LMS, No DQ, Extreme Rules) the majority of combo's wouldn't really change the landscape of the match.

3. Well what can I say? ....Not a fan of his and the lack of 'polish' on his performances have been there for all to see over the years. Didn't pan out as badly as it might have, but Umaga was damn lucky to walk out of WM24 unscathed after his :cough: match with 'Ver Animaaaw'.

p.s. Welcome, btw.

Good answers. Thanks for the welcome. And I never really looked at question two in that light before. Now that I really think about it, you're right in the fact that they all turn out the same lol. I do like strap/rope matches though. Not much room to turn that into a street fight.

Could that 'experienced person' be Batista?

It could if they want him to stink Raw up more than he already does....

For "experience" read "wisdom"...

Can you imagine 'Biiiig Dayyyyve' brainstorming strategy, tactics and technique with Orton (like HHH & Flair for instance)?

...Nah, me neither! LOL

How many strap/rope matches have you seen? The majority of them end up going out of the ring, hanging guys by their neck over the ropes, with plenty of other objects being used in the match.

Welcome to IWF.
Anyway, as for your topic here...

1- I'm betting we see Batista join. His heel turn has been rumpured for months, and I'm sure he'll join Legacy. Not only does it add to the stable, but it sets up for an easy Batista face turn a while down the road, when they want him back as a face...

2- That's actually a cool idea. The specific one you mentioned is actually pretty cool. It's funny, now that you brought it up, I can't believe they never did that. Like a HIAC submission match, or a HIAC Iron Man, or somethign to that effect.

3- Your friend told you this? How would he know? Lol. I like Batista though, always have, so not much to mention here..

My friend's been watching since before Batista started so she's seen his tendencies. I agree with Airfixx. I can't imagine Batista doing anything related to strategy. I like the idea of adding another rookie instead of an experienced guy though. I like the huge push Randy's getting, and I really like the leader position they've put him in. Loving the idea of Joe Henning. Randy has said numerous times how much respect he has for Joe's father.

I think the whole thing with Legacy is that they almost blatantly put the idea out there at Pricless are Orton's pawns and this is almost his way of power tripping and responding to Evolution. I don't see him adding anyone who could possibly challenge his position as top guy in the stable, so I'de say the only bets could be DH Smith, Hennig or possibly even Brett DiBiasi

DH Smith was in line to possibly be added but they went ahead and put him with the Hart Trilogy. I think it's a better place for him because I think he has this look about him that just screams babyface. The three men in Legacy, while they're all nice looking guys, have that ability to just come off as really cruel and arrogant and they play great heels. I could be wrong but I don't see DH pulling that off. Tyson Kidd and Natalya maybe aren't the crowd favorites but they're certainly not despised to the extent that Randy and company are. I think DH will do well as a tweener before they start talking about making him a full on heel. But if I'm mistaken as to what they're using him as right now, correct me, because I don't get to watch ECW as much as I'd like to.
