Everyone has a leader and a hero, someone they look up to and appreciate, who is your leader and/or hero?

Nelson Mandela for me, he has always been revolutionary in all of his actions, I really respect his commitment and determination to fight for his country and people, the guy was simply the best humanity figure of the late 90's and still today, many people consider Mandela being their 'hero' (including me) :wounded2:

So, who is your leader/hero?

Go figure you would support a terrorist (and just because he was right doesn't mean he's not a terrorist). just kidding though. I am glad that he changed part of the world though. It didn't really make sense to have an all white run country hat doesn't like blacks....in AFRICA. Damn British...

I second that motion.

There's plenty of others, but I can't seem to think of them at the moment.

Faced a shitload of adversity from others while achieving his goals even it meant dying for minorities to gain equal education as of a caucausian person. His movement for equal rights was absolutely revolutionary, his "I Have A Dream" speech still comes to my mind whenever I see somebody wasting their education at school over dumb shit.

The worst thing for me dealing with equal education is to not graduate from college and seems pretty disrespectful to MLK's legacy.

now before someone pisses and moans, his ideas sucked yeah obviously I'm not that Blue, but the way this man made his people agree and rally around these ideas is trully amazing, he is a master manipulator and overall maybe the best rallyman ever. I am trully sorry if that offends anyone but its damn true

Come to think of it I don't think I really have an idol. If I had to pick one person who's life I would want it would probably be Randy Orton.

Adam Ballinger. I go to his old high school and watching him play when I was a kid I always admired him. Then he went on to win a NCAA Championship at Michigan State and go to 3 Final Fours. Now he is in the NBL and from the small amount that I still pay attention to, it seems like he does a great job there. I heard he was the team MVP of the 36ers and was being looked at by the NBA but got hurt. Now that I'm a player I use him as my inspiration.

George Washington Carver for making Peanut Butter.

Think of all the things we couldn't have without Peanut Butter. Reese Cups,Peanut Butter Crackers, and anything else with Peanut Butter in it. I mean Peanut Butter rules so I say George Washington Carver is my hero.

Anyone here think beyond wrestling?
What's that supposed to mean?

I'm not a nerd, I'm not academic therefore that mainly leaves me with sports etc. Shawn Michaels is mine not just because he can 'pretend' to fight another man. The things he overcame in life and everything about him I admire.
