In an interview with Fighting Spirit Magazine, Bryan Danielson talks about his WWE dark match. "WWE called me on the Friday and asked me to a meeting on the Monday. I had the meeting with Vince McMahon and Johnny Ace, and they said they wanted to see me wrestle...I told them I was under contract to ROH and all of that kind of stuff. I think they know that I was trained by Shawn Michaels and William Regal, and I think Shawn's spoken about me, which is how the whole thing came about."

Danielson's ROH contract expires in May 2009 and he is unsure if he would be offered a deal when his current contract expires.

I'd say give him the WWE contract. Put him on Smackdown! I always wanted to see Dainelson and Triple H to go at it. The Best Wrestler In The World vs. The King of Kings. Classic IMO.

I'm hoping the WWE signs him, as much as I like ROH its a very small promotion and I'm sure Bryan Danielson wants to move up to the next level. If WWE does sign him, they better not put him in FCW for 10 years. The guy is obviously ready for main stream wrestling, and he could be the next big thing for not only WWE, but all of pro wrestling

^ROH is small? They probably draw near or around the same numbers as TNA house shows, without papering things.

yes, Danielson could be the next Bob Backlund without a tan. He already looks like it, the WWE needs to bring him up to do that.

but seriously, Danielson going to WWE would be a good thing. If he does something to stand out like Punk and Bourne, I'm hoping he and Colt Cabana get up to the roster soon. He's accomplished all that he can in America's indies, it's time for him to get signed.

I understand that, they have lots of fans and I am one of them. They are not a big company though, they don't have a TV deal, their production is pretty bad and its still more towards the indie side imo.

I get what you're saying.

and the thing with Danielson are that the ROH fans would be fine to see him go, and it's kinda like they're planning for it already on the shows. He's pretty big in Japan too.
